At the beginning of June, Escrick Tennis Club for second time held the North East Regional Qualifiers for the National Police event this year being held in Birmingham.
Police officers and staff from North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Northumbria, and Cleveland competed in a number of events in order to gain qualifying status for the National Finals.
We were all blessed with some fantastic weather and good tennis for a number of hours and many of the competitors commented upon the well kept courts and beautiful surroundings.
